Top Decor Limited was formed in 2000 as a company specializing in custom kitchen and counter tops using the Rigid Thermofoil (RTF) method. Top Decor’s experience in the solid surface industry extends to over  twenty years with practical hands on experience, in manufacturing, assembling, repairing and maintenance of machinery.

Objectives

To become the major supplier and manufacturer of “green” (environmentally friendly) kitchen cabinets, solid surface counter tops and interior products. These are to be supplied and manufactured at the highest internationally accepted standards and qualify at an affordable price.

Top Décor Limited will meet and exceed our customer’s expectation as a world class full line manufacturer of high quality, solid surface material by offering the most innovative and competitive products available; by delivering finished products on a timely basis and defect-free; by creating an atmosphere of openness and trust between ourselves, our customers, and our suppliers until they become our true partners.

As the world moves towards a “Green” environment, Top Décor Limited is on the forefront of this trust forward. Our supplier, Avonite, has been one of the first companies in the US to use recycled environmentally friendly product in its manufacturing process. Our Bonding materials canisters are safely disposed of and collected by the Solid Waste management Co. Limited.
All solid woods are ecologically treated with no artificially harmful chemicals.

Market Analysis Summary
Fourty percent (40%) of all raw materials (inclusive of lumber, bonding materials etc) are purchased from local suppliers 60% of other materials (thermofoil & solid surface) are imported out of Miami, USA.
Top Décor Limited has partnered with other contractors and has worked in conjunction with the Housing Development Corporation on the following projects:-

Personal contact with architects, interior designers and contractors who are primarily involved with the design and construction of both residential and commercial projects

For the next fiscal year the company intends to spend over $100.000TT on research & development.

Management Summary

As a good corporate citizen Top Décor Limited, on a very regular basis, gives back to the community in which it operates. As a result of the unfortunate crime situation, we have taken the decision to remain in the Diamond Vale Industrial Park and not only provide several benefits to the society, but also contribute to the general improvement of the non-energy sector of our twin Republic state of Trinidad & Tobago.
With our sales drive initiatives and production efficiencies, we project a significant leap in our output of finished product, contracts, new business and acquisition of additional pieces of hi-tech machinery.

Benefits to Society (partly through the promotion of the cultural art forms):

  • Sponsorship to music trucks during the Carnival season.
  • Sponsorship of the annual Children’s Christmas party for the kids of the Factory Road environs.

Benefits to the Economy.

Continious expansion into the Regional markets (Barbados, St Lucia, Grenada, St Kitts and Nevis). Providing employment for 19 permanent employees and between 10 – 15 temporary employees.
Greater sales, implies greater revenue and by extension additional taxes to be paid
Additional export sales to the regional customer will generate foreign exchange.
